Take time to wander

I like to wander about and explore a city and Rome is a wonderful place to do this.  The second day there we took the subway a couple of stops with the intention of seeing a major church, the line was long and hot, to we bailed on that idea and wandered. Ancient meets modern in Rome, all over the place.  We stumbled across the church in a park, I don't know what church it is, or who the Saint in the box is, the art and architecture are fantastic.  If you see a church that is open and you have five minutes, pop in, you never know what treasures are within.
