Reflecting life

 One of the first online sites I contributed to was "The Mirror Project." The site published photos with the photographer reflected in them.  Shooting for that project had me on the lookout for shiny surfaces, that I would show up in.  Mirrors were the natural, but a shiny car, or door knob would work just as well.  

When we look for them, we find that we are surrounded by shiny surfaces.  Our photographs reflect the world around us, and at times reflect us. 

The Mirror Project is still online, it stopped accepting new postings in 2004. For a time it was offline when the server holding the images was dropped. Legend has it, literally dropped when being moved.
