Color or Monochrome in a low color environment

I keep black and white as the setting in the effects button on my Nikon D5500s.  With a simple turn of the dial, I go from full color and raw, to selective color, and that is selected to monochrome.  In the two images above, which works better, no colors, or the limited colors of this low light, low color environment?
